Applications & Usage

PETRO FORM 500-CF can be used to punch, draw, stamp, extrude or form all alloys in all operations. As with all products, testing should be conducted to assure desired results are achieved before moving into full production. The product is normally used neat as received but in some instances can be diluted back with mineral oil and/or solvents for a specific application. The cl-free oil-based machining & metal forming fluid is most often sprayed onto die surfaces but can also be applied via dipping parts, brushing, and/or pouring. Contact the ValCOOL customer service department for more information.
