The "BIG HOSS" as some refer to it. HOSS 80 EXT is a microsoluble coolant that is an excellent choice for machinists and processes that desire more oil in their product than other ValCOOL products. Our chlorine and boron free CNC machining coolant is fortified with some of the latest polymeric esters and corrosion inhibitors. Often times, on a usage cost basis, this product tends to be the least expensive choice of product in the ValCOOL offering.

Applications & Usage
The main use for HOSS 80 EXT is machining in CNC machines but runs equally as well in manual machines. The product has technology that allows the product to be highly beneficial for high pressure applications where foam can be an issue. Additionally, companies have found success with the use of HOSS 80 EXT in certain forming processes.
Concentrations for machining applications vary but a typical starting concentration is 5% with a maximum concentration normally found around 8%.
