Applications & Usage
VP-920P is a synthetic metal removal fluid concentrate meant to be extended in water.
- A starting concentration of 3.0% - 8.0% is recommended for most metal removal
operations. Optimal concentrations may vary depending on the particular alloy. - Always add VP-920P to water. To reduce use and optimize performance, it is best to
pre-mix with water prior to filling the fluid system or adding make-up. - A calibrated refractometer should be used to determine the fluid concentration. To
determine the concentration, use the following formula: Concentration (%) = %Brix
(Refractive Index) x 3.6 (RI Multiplier)
VP-920P is engineered to perform well on difficult multi-point metal removal operations such as: milling, turning, drilling, reaming, boring, sawing, and grinding.
