Cutting Oils For Swiss Machining
ValCOOL has designed a line of products for precision machining, specifically Swiss machining. These products all have low viscosities, excellent tooling protection, and low surface tension for full coverage. Realizing not every application requires 100% synthetic technology, ValCOOL's line of Val-Swiss cutting oils has three levels of technology for operations requiring moderate, aggressive, and severe machining lubrication performance.
For the unique challenges of Swiss machining, ValCOOL manufactures a line of oils to cover the entire market. With Val-Swiss, a product for your application exists: from our ultra pure 100% ester chemistries, our value driven oil blends, to our hydrotreated petroleum technologies. Products are available in ISO 10 or ISO 22 viscosities. All Val Swiss products contain our proprietary Zyretol additive package to assure lubricity and tool protection are at a premium.

- Non-Vented Machines
- Machine Tables Walked On
- Central Systems
- Underground Sumps
ValCOOL recommends using Val-U-Clean or K-5-P cleaner before adding Val-Swiss 10 to a machine. Val-Swiss 10 is a straight cutting oil so mixing with water is not required. Maintaining the Val-Swiss 10 at its optimum performance is achieved through good fluid filtration practices. No special precautions are necessary with respect to seals or valves.
Fluid compatibility and machinability should always be tested first; as fluid concentration, metal alloy, and machining operation are variable.
