Neat Rust Preventive Oil
Pro-Tek 36 is an anti-rust oil that helps to assure that your machined and manufactured steel parts do not rust. Additionally, the product is safe to use on all alloys to assure corrosion does not occur and part integrity remains in tact. Pro-Tek 36 is very user friendly.
The product is an oil-based rust preventative with a relatively high flash to minimize VOC concerns. Pro-Tek 36 displaces water very well and therefore is an excellent rust and corrosion inhibitor for manufactured parts that might have some residual aqueous fluid on them.
The ease of us with Pro-Tek 36 is often due to its ability to be applied in numerous manners. Suitable application technique include brushing, dipping, spraying, and part immersion. Applications & Usage
Apply product as is by brush, dip, spray or immersion to all surfaces needing protection. Allow to air dry. Drying time is dependent on temperature, relative humidity and air circulation. Remove product by wiping off with cloth or cleaner.
