Synthetic Rust Preventative

Pro-Tek Aqua 44 is a unique synthetic water based rust and corrosion preventative that contains no mineral oil or viscous polymer.  The product is of a synthetic nature to assure 100% user acceptance and zero volatile organic compounds.  The product when applied leaves an almost indiscernible microscopic coating.

Many customers will apply Pro-Tek 44 to parts prior to packaging to provide an additional assurance of part integrity.  Often times parts that are being stacked will have a coating of Pro-Tek 44 applied to them to assure water entrapment doesn't occur and begin the rusting process. 

Unfortunately, Pro-Tek 44 is not meant for long term outdoor use and even in door protection should be approximtely three to four months or less.  Some companies will use this product as an in-situ rust preventative and add it to other aqueous fluids in their plant that need added rust inhibition properties.
